Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the United States. The current president is as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. The California native Buss grew up in an affluent family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was a real estate tycoon before becoming the owner of Lakers, among other businesses. When her parents broke up in 1972 she felt that they'd abandoned her. At the age 19 she was appointed the General Manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. She later set up her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. She served as the head of the Great Western Forum before assuming the role of vice president for the Lakers. Buss inherited the Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. Five siblings of hers were the inheritors through a family estate trust. Buss assumed the position of president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also a co-founder of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion headquartered within Los Angeles.
