Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B to create a unique mix. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, during the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine has the name Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by singing and playing the piano in the church. In Atlanta, she attended Spellman College where her musical training began on Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan; it was later remixed by numerous producers and is an essential part in her live show. Additionally, she was a part of The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. The band was hired as the main keyboardist of Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls production during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was the subject of national media attention due to her 4 performances a day during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to sing as part of Obama's inaugural ceremony in 2009.
